Pony Club or ARC allrounder pony

This is Syd, officially 'Dunelm Secret'. Syd is a 13.3hh APSB riding pony/part welsh gelding looking for a new rider to bring out his very best. Syd is a good doer and he's never shown signs of founder. He is barefoot and has excellent feet.

Syd is best suited to a capable rider who is confident. He’s been with us for 12 months but isn’t quite the right fit for our daughter and although they have had lots of fun together we think he’d be a better match for someone with a bit more confidence about them.

He loves jumping! Has schooled 65cm xc and 85cm sj. We believe he’s more than capable of being an 80cm/level 3 eventer with the right rider! He’s brave and bold and likes to be allowed to bowl along at a forward but reasonable pace. He has good brakes and comes back to trot easily from his bold canter.

Syd has experience in showing and dressage at adult rider level. He’s done load of pony club too. Syd holds a lovely frame on the flat and has big movement more like that of a horse than a pony.

We believe he’s suited to a confident second or third horse rider, or a small adult rider.
Syd is easy to catch, trim, wash, float and worm.
