16.3hh - Rising 12 - Corofino II x Cassini II
Has stepped up to Young Rider with ease and confidence.
This stunning gelding offers the hard-to-find combination of rideability, scope and great personality - a true best friend.
He has confidently competed and won ribbons to 1.35 and schooled with ease to 1.40. An uncomplicated, confidence-building jumper, he is willing to go from all sorts of spots. Snaffle-mouthed and easy for a small rider to put together and control. He is steady around a course, while still able to produce a great jump-off. Picture-perfect technique and plenty of ability.
Good flatwork including flying changes, light in the hand and responsive to aids. He has also been well exposed beyond competition, participating in a busy school equestrian academy, cross-country schooling, hacking and trackwork. Self-loads, easy to handle, and has always been very sound and healthy, no injuries.
Purchased from Xtreme Stud as a green 5yo, he showed a great brain for jumping from the start. My small 14yo, fresh off ponies, brought him on to confidently compete at 1.20 in their second season before studies took priority. More recently, he has been my pleasure horse, with ongoing professional jump training and occasional competition. In his last 2025 season, he was 2nd at 1.25 in a strong field and won a rug in a 1.20 championship class. He finished that season with a placing at 1.20 and a lovely 1.25 round. After a competition break for family reasons, he has just returned, jumping a fantastic 1.25 at the September Takapoto show with a new rider, followed by placings in his first Young Rider class and a very competitive 1.15 end October. He’s feeling great for the season ahead.
Changed family circumstances force a heartbreaking sale. We are looking for a fabulous home that prioritises their horse having fun.
