Affectionate young horse - Fern

Fern is a beautiful 15hh, 5 year old, WB/TB x welsh D. Her dam is out of Fidertanz and a jumping mare and was a super jumping horse with an amazing temperament. Fern is a carbon copy of her dam and is a lovely horse that is a pleasure to have around. Fern has the most beautiful temperament - she is easy to handle and very friendly. She was broken in as a 3 year old by Peter Jones and then turned out to grow and I’ve brought her on super slow since then bring her in for bits and pieces as she’s really only just grown into her body. Unfortunately the classic issue of time pressures has meant that I haven’t been able to do any consistent work since July last year. Although she is still very green she is safe and prefers to freeze over being flighty. Fern is relaxed and brave once she is comfortable and has lovely movement. I think she would make a great eventer in a small package! She has been out a handful of times. Easy keeper and easy to shoe etc. Like all horses, she thrives on consistency and clarity. She needs miles put in her right now but I’m sure will make a fabulous horse. located in Canberra
