Benji is a talented pony who wants to please and is looking for her perfect home. We've had Benji for the last 5 years, and he has taken my daughter from near beginner to riding Elementary level and to an Interschools National Champs in 2024 for CT65. Before us, he was a very successful show pony in SA. He has a solid education up to elementary, he has been extensively campaigned in PC, EA, and Children's FEI events, always under professional guidance.
He is a sharp, athletic pony with expressive movement and undeniable presence. A consistently competitive dressage pony, he regularly places at competitions and has all the quality and charisma to stand out wherever he goes. He is a neat, careful jumper with plenty of scope; he is particularly hard to beat in a speed round, combining agility and an eagerness to get the job done. He genuinely enjoys his work and gives his rider everything he has.

With that talent comes enthusiasm and energy, so he is best suited to a confident rider who appreciates a forward-thinking pony and won't be intimidated by his athleticism. For the right rider, he is an exciting, competitive all-rounder with the quality, personality and performance record to excel across multiple disciplines. He would suit a confident young rider or a capable small adult who wants a pony that has been there, done that.

He is a very low fuss pony on the ground with lovely ground manners, and is easy to hack out, float, shoe and clip.

This is a very difficult sale as Benji has been my daughter’s first pony, and we want him to find his person, and thus far has been very particular about making sure he is matched with the right person.

Benji has no vices or medical history.
