He’s recently started his sale prep with us and has taken everything in his stride — including popping over 80cm on his first proper jumping session without batting an eyelid.

Charlie is:
🐴 No buck, rear, bolt or spook
🐴 Great to handle on the ground
🐴 Happy riding alone or in company
🐴 Sensible on trails
🐴 Showing plenty of potential for pony club, games and jumping
🐴 UTD with teeth, worming and farrier
🐴 And lives on the smell of an oily rag 👌

He is very responsive to his aids — a click or small shift in weight is often all he needs — so he’s not the pony for someone wanting to kick along every stride. He’d suit a balanced, confident rider looking for their second horse and wanting something responsive, willing and fun.

He’ll happily stand tied while you love on him all day and is an absolute gentleman to have around.
