Sensi is here to be rehomed, not retrained. He will not be sold as a "retrained" horse so please hold this in mind.

Since being here he as been great to handle in all ways. This includes floating, washing, farrier and lunging.

He has a few little quirks where he can be girth and nippy which have rapidly improved since retiring from racing, and are steadily still improving.

Sensi is fantastic to lunge with or without side reins, over trot poles, in the arena or field, and he has also lunged over some tyres where he showed some promise to make a nice little jumper.

He has commenced bareback work and has shown himself to be a very quiet, but responsive ride with a very beautiful soft contact. He has commenced his laterals at the walk and is slowly learning his leg yield and shoulder in. Sensi is working at Prelim level at home in walk, trot and canter, but please note this is all bareback as I do not not have a saddle for him. He has fantastic gears and can go at a super slow plod like pace or a more forward regular pace all without having to nag or woah him. He has a lovely middle range reactivity to the aids. So safe he gave a pony ride to one of his previous owners on 30/05/26 which can be seen on IG. His previous owner is a genuine beginner so it is a testament to his temperament. Furthermore, he has also been borrowed for some joy rides by friends, one who hasn't cantered ANY horses since 2022 and did so on 08/06/2026 bareback on him which was also her first sit on him. So when I say super safe and reliable I do mean it.

I will continue to do work with him to help make his transition easier for when he finds a home to properly commence his retraining. Alternatively he will stay and I will keep working him and his price will rise accordingly.

Sensi is incredibly kind and affectionate, he truly just wants to be someones best friend. He is very food oriented and is a very in your pocket personality and this has made forging new behaviours around his quirks very easy.

In the field he can be dominant around feed with other horses so this must be taken into consideration when selecting a paddock situation. He is by no means excessive with this behaviour but something that must be considered.

I believe Sensi would make a fantastic horse for many uses such as trail, pleasure, pony club/arc or low level eventer/jumper for someone to bring along. I do not think he would be suited to a competitive home looking to go beyond 80/95cm or Novice dressage. In saying that he may surprise me as he is really enjoying his work and learning fast.

He tries very hard and wants to please and earn his treats. He is a very gentle and soft soul so does require a gentle rider who understands him. I have a very very soft spot for this one, and his owners and connections do as well. There is NO rush to move him on, he can stay until he finds the perfect home, and I will simply continue to produce and enjoy him as he is a pleasure to have around.
