Duke is a beautiful big approx. 16.1hh, 13-year-old Thoroughbred gelding by Fastnet Rock.

He is a dearly loved horse and his owners are genuinely hoping to find him the right forever home.

Prior to coming to me, Duke was owned and ridden by an elderly lady who enjoyed him mainly trail riding and pottering around at home. He really enjoyed that quieter lifestyle and I feel this is the type of home he would be very happy in again.

Duke has now been with me for the past 4 weeks for training and has made a lot of progress in that time. He is improving consistently in his work and has been lovely to have around.

He was originally sold to my client as a beginner-suitable horse, however after getting to know him better,

, we feel he is better suited to someone with a little more experience and confidence who can continue his education and understand him.

Under saddle, Duke has shown no buck, rear or dangerous ridden tendencies.
