Broughtenvale Apache

Broughtenvale Apache, or ‘Bert’ is a registered 15 year old blingy Chestnut stock horse, who gets compliments every where he goes.

Bert is a safe, quiet and gentle boy who takes everything in his stride. With me, he’s been used for pony club, trail rides, beach and forest trips, dressage competitions and low level showjumping and eventing, he has been there and done that. He’s fine with ditches and most cross country jumps, he loves water, he’s not spooky and overall he’s just very sensible. But, he is very sensitive and he has some gut issues that are easily managed, and long term don’t affect him. He also has some mild arthritis in his legs, that we manage with pentosan.(will discuss all of this with potential buyers.) Bert is a self loader and amazing traveler, he has been unloaded next to a 4 lane 110km highway, due to some float issues and he just put his head down and started eating the weeds. Not much bothers him! He is a fan favorite of our farrier, and stands perfectly for him, the dentist and all of the above.

I would love to see him go to a young rider who wants to start dressage or eventing, or someone who wants to have a quiet, safe horse to just have fun with, he can do it all. This is a really difficult sale and he will only be going to a 5 star home. It would also be preferred if he stayed in Victoria.
