$2,000

I bought this pony mare listed as suitable for beginners, 12hh and 10years old. She is a bit bigger than 12hh. Stunning to look at! I think she would make a great mum and has lovely paddock manners. She is getting easier to catch each day. I’ve only had her for 2 weeks, but she is too dangerous for my 8yr old to ride, so she has to go(lesson learnt, don’t buy before you ride). I have had multiple professional opinions to move her on and sell her as a broodmare or companion horse.

The dentist confirmed she is about 10. She was great for the farrier, but got a little tired of the dentist towards the end, so could benefit from mild sedation.

She is sound and has no known medical conditions.

This horse is dangerous under saddle. She should not be ridden (Vertical rears). Her first ride she did great in walk and trot, asked for canter and that’s where her little trick came in. 2nd ride, full vertical rear when asking for trot. Today, 31/1/26, yep you guessed it, I mounted her and she reared.

She had dental and Chiro 29/1/26

Farrier trimmed her feet 22/1/27

I won’t sell to a beginner, I won’t sell to someone who wants her as a project or for their child. In saying this, she has warmed up to me in the 2 weeks I’ve had her. Easy to handle on the ground. Great for farrier and relaxed when walking around a busy school environment. Floats easy! Her photo doesn’t do her justice. She is a very pretty little pony and I believe she would make beautiful foals or fillies. Come check her out if you want a paddock ornament or a potential broodmare. Don’t waste my time if you aren’t serious! Price is firm!
