Clementine - Dressage Potential & Real Presence

Clementine – 16.2hh Waler x Stock Horse Mare with Dressage Potential & Real Presence

The kind of mare people stop to watch.

Clementine ("Clem") is a 9yo chestnut Waler x Stock Horse mare. She stands approx 16.2hh and is solidly built, with a look-at-me presence that turns heads the moment she steps off the float.

Breeding
Sire: Talara Aranda Guan Wei (W0184)
Dam: Mulpemoh Catorah Pattern (WX0986)
Eligible for registration as 75% Waler.

Her story so far
Clem was started under saddle in December 2021 by Yona Lloyd (Ballahowe Performance) and has had correct education ever since. She's done the miles: countless clinics, adult riding club, competitions and group trail rides. The exposure work is already done for you.

She's currently in moderate work, mixing flatwork with poles and low jumps. This mare is seriously talented and moves beautifully under saddle. She could head out and contest a Grade 3/4 HRCAV combined training tomorrow.

Dressage riders, take note
Clem has three beautifully flowing paces, the kind that catch a judge's eye as she comes down the centre line. She's responsive and moves off the leg, and she's already working on shoulder-in, so her lateral work is well underway. Pair that with her size, presence and correct foundation, and she's a lovely prospect to bring up through the levels. She's equally suited to a rider who wants to focus purely on the dressage arena or one who'd also like to enjoy combined training.

Who she suits
Clem is best suited to a confident rider. She can have a spook at new or unfamiliar things (never dirty) and takes her confidence from the person on top. For a calm, confident rider this isn't an issue.

She's easy to catch and float, and she stands well for the farrier and dentist.

Why she's available
Clem's owner has just welcomed a beautiful baby into the world, and with a new little one at home, Clem deserves a rider who can give her the time she needs. She's ready to go out and bring home the ribbons. She's dearly loved and will be missed.
