Derek is a striking 17hh, 13-year-old warmblood gelding by Emmaville Darius (Daley K), offered for sale as a genuine competitive showjumping horse for a capable and ambitious rider. With proven experience up to Grand Prix level and recent results 3rd in the Grand Prix at Gundagai Ag Show and Leading Part 3 Horse at Canberra Royal, along with many other successful outings, Derek combines scope, presence and rideability with the valuable mileage of a seasoned campaigner.

Derek is straightforward to shoe, float, worm and clip, travels well, and is easy to manage on the ground. He has a sweet, inquisitive personality and enjoys his work.

Due to his size and level of experience, Derek is not suited to a beginner or nervous rider. He would be best matched with a professional home, or a confident young or interschool rider under regular instruction, seeking a quality horse to continue producing and competing successfully.
