Competitive TSHA Jumper

We are deeply saddened to present Ron for sale, as he is such an incredible horse. Our plan was to qualify him for the Magic Millions OTT class next year as we fully believe he’ll have great success there, but unfortunately we must give that opportunity to someone else as we’ve had a change in situation.

Ron is a very competitive horse, perfect if you’re looking for success in the children’s tours, interschool, or TSHA classes. He rarely come’s home from a competitions without a cheque. He is great in a jump off horse, I’ve given him some pretty ridiculous line’s and he’s jumped them without a second thought. He has experience up to 1.10m with different levels of riders. He’s cleared 1.50m in the Roma Show 6-bar.

His most recent comp was the Glen Innes Spring Championships, where he had 6 classes from 90cm to 1m, winning 2 of them, and placing in the other 4, proving, yet again, to be a good winner.

For the first half of the year he competed with a 14yo rider with not a lot of experience over 1m. He took her from 80cm to 1m, won all three rounds and overall in the Secondary 80cm at Scotts PGC Interschool, and 6th overall out of 50 riders in the Secondary 80cm at QLD Interschool State Championships. He spent this time demonstrating that he will come back for a younger rider to lope around on.

He is also a great horse for trail rides on busy roads, on his own, on beaches ect. He can be ridden bareback and bitless. He’s been to World Cup shows and ag shows. No issues with busy side shows, chainsaws/wood cutting, fireworks, ect. Not mate happy. Easy to shoe, saddle, wash, ect. He can be clipped without sedative. He can be led around by a child, and is very gentle around them. Can be ridden after a long break with no dramatics.

Ron is a very honest, quiet, fun, safe and sane jumper. He is the perfect mother’s horse, child’s horse, or amateur horse. This level of experience is rare to find in a younger OTT, and with the high value of TSHA classes he is a gold mine.

Our loss is definitely another’s gain. We were originally pretty firm on 20k for him, but a change of circumstances has resulted in us having to drop his price and we are still open to offers on this champion. Unfortunately we are in a situation where he needs to go sooner rather than later, so please don’t be afraid to come and try him and put an offer on him.
