If safety, honesty and confidence-building are at the top of your list, Dusk is your pony. He has been a treasured part of our family and has given our child countless happy, safe hours — from lead-line right through to independent riding.

Dusk has elevated insulin levels. He is otherwise happy, sound and in lovely condition, but this is a lifelong metabolic condition that needs ongoing management. For that reason he will only be sold to an experienced home that already understands metabolic ponies and is able to manage his diet, grazing and weight year-round. He is currently managed with [BRIEF: e.g. restricted/muzzled grazing, low-sugar/low-starch diet, soaked hay, regular exercise, vet monitoring — edit to match your setup]. I’m happy to talk through everything openly, and his breeder and past trainers from the riding school can also share more about his history if you’d like.
