Introduction: Entally Rosè, known as Rosie, is a 5-year-old chestnut mare standing approximately 14.2½hh. By Wellbrook Fire and Ice out of Entally Bundy, she is EA registered and located in Westbury, Tasmania. She is a well-educated young mare with a broad skill set and an established competition record across showjumping and eventing.

Education, skills and experience: Rosie has been professionally started and produced, having been broken in and trained by a 2* eventing rider. She has established flatwork, including leg yield and shoulder-in, and is described as having a sharp front end and a bold approach to jumping and cross country. She has competed successfully at state level in showjumping and eventing, with placings from 65cm to 80cm classes, including Tasmanian Showjumping Championships and ODE events. She is also experienced in trail riding, bareback riding and is comfortable around livestock, roads, machinery, dogs and children.

General demeanour under saddle: Under saddle, Rosie is willing, responsive and adaptable to the confidence level of her rider. She is soft and light in the bridle, collects when ridden correctly and is tolerant of rider mistakes. She is described as non-reactive and unflappable under saddle, making her a genuine and straightforward young horse to ride.

Current workload / fitness: Rosie is currently in work and being ridden three or more times per week while actively competing. She is considered safe to hop straight on after a spell.

Handling: Rosie is calm, safe and easy to manage. She is easy to catch, leads quietly, ties up without fuss and loads easily onto both floats and trucks. She is easy to wash, reliable for the farrier and good for the vet.

Behaviour: Rosie is generally unflappable and well mannered, with no major behavioural concerns. Her only noted quirk is occasionally pinning her ears and being a bit nippy but is otherwise cuddly and nice.

Feeding and management: Rosie is easy to manage and receives hay when pasture is low. Her management is flexible and she can be kept on her own, without other horses on the property, or in a combination of paddock and stabling arrangements.

Medical history: Rosie has no past or present medical issues. She was last vaccinated in June 2026 for Strangles, Tetanus, Hendra and Equine Influenza, and her dental is due in June 2026. She is currently barefoot. A vet check is welcome at the buyer’s expense.

Rider Suitability: Rosie is best suited to an intermediate rider and would suit a junior rider, young rider or amateur adult under regular professional instruction. As a quality young horse with further potential, she is best suited to a rider who can continue her education and development.

Reason for sale: Rosie was bred by her current owners specifically to be sold. She presents as a versatile young horse with established education and competition experience, ready to continue progressing in her next home.
