Bounce Barney is truly one in a million. I’ve owned him for 8 years, and he’s the horse that made me a better rider. An easy-going, big friendly giant with a lot of talent to give, Barney has competed up to 1m show jumping and jumped 1.20m confidently at home. He has also done years of dressage and jumping lessons, and would thrive with someone looking to get out and about competing.

 

Barney would suit a confident teen or adult rider looking to continue their jumping or dressage journey. While quiet, he is forward-moving and can be a bit of a spooky sook, so he isn’t for a beginner. He is easy to have around, barefoot, and an easy doer.

 

Barney hasn’t been ridden for a few months due to lack of time, but typically comes back into work well after a lunge. The only quirk is he can be hesitant loading into floats due to his size; he would do best with an angle load, stallion float, and a patient handler to build his confidence.

 

This is a heartbreaking sale of my heart horse, but with work commitments, I can’t give him the time he deserves, and it’s not fair to see him wasting in the paddock. Barney has plenty of years left to give someone the same joy he’s given me.

 

Barney will be sold out of work and price reflects this.
