Introduction:

Koorana Timeless Edition, known as Twix, is a quality children’s pony with a fabulous record across dressage, showing, eventing and showjumping. Twix has been with her current young rider for four years, forming a lovely and successful partnership. Unfortunately, her rider has very sadly outgrown her.

Twix is offered with her professionally fitted saddle and bridle, plus a wardrobe of rugs and gear available for purchase, making her a beautifully set-up, ready-to-go package for the right junior home.

Education, skills and experience:

Twix has competed across dressage, showjumping, eventing, interschools and pony club. She is beautifully educated on the flat, soft and light in the bridle and willingly works in a frame. Her experience also includes trail riding, beach outings, showjumping and eventing to 60cm.

Twix is currently competing. She holds lifetime EA registration and is registered as an Australian Riding Pony, Part Welsh, Saddle Pony and Part-bred Australian Stud Book pony.

General demeanour under saddle:

Under saddle, Twix is willing, responsive and kind. She adapts to the rider’s competence and confidence, making her suitable for novices under instruction while still stepping up for more experienced riders. Twix is tolerant of rider mistakes and willingly collects in a snaffle. She is generally non-reactive unless something major occurs - and even then she stays safe and sensible. She is unfazed by dogs and the nonsense of ag shows.

Current workload / fitness:

Twix is in work and ridden three or more times per week.

Handling:

On the ground, Twix is unflappable and easy to manage. She is easy to catch, leads and ties quietly, self-loads and travels calmly, and is straightforward to clip and wash. Twix is reliable for the farrier and vet, tolerant of handler errors, and can be paddocked on her own.

Feeding and management:

Twix is currently managed on hard feed and hay, with a twice-daily mix of lucerne and Rhodes grass hay and no pellets. This simple program keeps her in good condition and very rideable and safe.

Medical history:

Twix does not have any medical issues, injuries, supplements or prescription medication. She was vaccinated for Tetanus and Strangles in March 2026, and had her last dental in March 2026. Pre-purchase vet checks are welcome at the buyer’s expense.

Rider Suitability:

Twix suits a competitive child rider under regular professional instruction who is looking to learn and progress with a well-educated, experienced pony. She is appropriate for novice riders and is also safe for beginners on the lead, while offering the education and buttons for a capable junior.

Twix's rider has very sadly outgrown her.
