Pretty, aka Malbec Jolie, is an 11-year-old, 15.2hh grey mare by the Keur Preferent KWPN foundation stallion Uniform, out of a Thoroughbred mare by Durbridge.

Pretty has a green education but with plenty of experience, She has been to both showjumping and dressage competitions also doing an ample amount of trail riding, taking everything in her stride and handling new environments, travelling and atmosphere extremely well and was ridden and competed by a 15yr experienced but at times nervous rider and she handled this well. She also did a fortnight with a trainer just to establish the basics.

She is currently out of work, but has a lovely attitude and is a kind, willing mare who is ready for someone to continue her education and put their own stamp on her. She has the potential to make a lovely allrounder with further time.

Pretty is easy to handle, wash and float and is a genuinely lovely mare to have around.

Her breeding is a major highlight, being by Uniform, with her dam Golden Causeway having produced a number of successful performance ponies and horses, including Malbec Vevey, 1* eventing and medium dressage, Malbec Theoritz, 1* eventing/showjumping, Pony Club and National Interschools, and Malbec Swan Lake, showjumping and Pony Club.

Pretty has also produced two lovely foals: Malbec Monaco, a filly by showjumping stallion Parco who is currently being campaigned as a show hunter/rider class mount as well as in showjumping, and an exceptionally nice colt by frozen semen from Irish Sport Horse stallion Highland Blue Diamond. Both have inherited Pretty’s friendly and sweet temperament.

Please note: She does have scarring all four legs happy to discuss in further detail but doesn’t effect her riding nor soundness, purely cosmetic.
