Ruby is a beautifully bred, sweet-natured mare with an outstanding temperament and a genuine love for her work. She is exactly the same at home as she is away, making her a pleasure to own and compete.

She has had a well-rounded and sensible start to her career and is currently competing at 1.00 m, with wins and placings, and is schooling a little higher at home. Ruby is brave, will take you to the fence and will take a miss. She is a confident jumper who makes a consistent shape and tried exceptionally hard to leave all the jumps up. Ruby has started training lateral movements and has three quality, balanced paces. She is also great to hack out, both alone and in company. Great to take to shows either alone, or with friends, has been yarded and will tie up to the side of the truck with no issue. Ruby has always been ridden in a snaffle and is great to do everything with.

Ruby has been cross-country schooling, where she has proven to be brave and enthusiastic, confidently tackling drops and ditches. She has attended busy agricultural shows, clinics, and competitions, where she has been sensible, calm, and well-behaved. She is regularly handled by my 10-year-old children and has an exceptionally kind nature — there is not a nasty bone in her body.

With her lovely, relaxed nature and natural talent, Ruby would be very much at home in any of the Olympic disciplines. She is a genuine, quality young mare with talent, trainability and an excellent temperament.
