Barrelyn Warlord shines in the dressage is consistently clear SJ, brave and honest XC, always bringing his young rider home safely. Wally has taken both of my boys up through the eventing levels, making it fun and giving them a love of riding. Wally is confident, has super technique over jumps, is careful, clever and with his experience, knows exactly what to do to look after his rider.

This incredible pony hasn’t passed through many hands and has always had the best of homes, he’s been with our family for eight years.  Whilst Wally has a great temperament, he can occasionally kick in the float when travelling so if you're not confident, please don't enquire.

Barrelyn Warlord has been selected for Interschool Nationals with both of his riders from every Interschool State Championships he’s competed at and has also qualified for every Pony Club Nationals across multiple disciplines, dressage, eventing, SJ and CT (winning and placing at National and International level).

2025 NSW State Title C Grade 90cm (PC) Eventing (qualified Pony Club Nationals)

2025 NSW State Title C Grade 85cm (PC) Combined Training (qualified Pony Club Nationals)

2025 Reserve Champion CT, 80cm primary Interschool State Championships – qualified and competed at the Interschool Nationals – placed top ten.

There are so many other highlights during our time with Wally, including him representing Australia  (PC dressage/jumping) where he placed top ten and being awarded Horse of the Year (Junior) at Hunter Valley Dressage Prelim.

Wally loves to compete, nowhere near ready to retire, his most recent competition was in April 2026 where he placed 4th in 90cm Showjumping, his current rider is moving onto a bigger mount. Being a mature pony we would now like to see Wally look after another young rider at the lower eventing levels or straight dressage as their second pony.
