Exposure

Purchased directly from breeder and lightly started at the end of 2024. Red has been corrected started undersaddle, not rushed and given a well rounded education. He has had several outings, both inhand and undersaddle to multiple different venues to attend clinics, breed shows, ag shows and dressage competitions. He is regularly ridden out of the arena and enjoys a jump on the cross country paddock. Schooling leg yields and all novice work. Beginning to play with elementary movements. Well established transitions and adjustable paces. Easy to sit trot and rocking horse canter.

Temperament

Very friendly gelding to both people and other ponies. Paddocks individually and with others. Enjoys a play but is not dominant or aggressive. Travels well and is easy to manage at competitions. Does not require excessive lunging or working down to produce consistent tests. I generally warm up for 15 to 25mins max prior to test.

Good to float, trim, wash, prep, tie, lead, lunge. Exposed to machinery and dogs. Can be kept in work barefoot or shod (currently has fronts). Up to date with dental (August), worming, vaccinations and regularly trimmed. No scars, history of laminitis, health or soundness issues.

Home is most important for this boy. He is safe and kind enough for an ambitious junior and an ideal size for small adult. Knowledgable homes only that want to continue with dressage or develop him into the ultimate interschools mount.

If no current interest, Red with be further campaigned at Novice/Elementary in 2026 and price will increase.
