Promising 6yo 16.3hh OTTB

Approx. 16.3hh 6yo NZ OTTB “Perry” aka Periwinkle, Perfect Perry.

Perry has been off the track since early last year and with me since mid last year. He has adjusted to the ridden life well, however, has been in and out of work due to my uni schedule, another horse, and general life.

Perry has big movement in all gaits and goes around nicely in a frame. He has jumped approx. three times and has taken it all in his stride and has a scopey jump. Perry picks up everything quickly; he is very smart and aims to please. I was planning on eventing him, but just never made it out to a cross country course. I think he would suit this well as he is a bold, brave horse, however, does need a steady rider to give him confidence at times.

I have taken Perry on numerous trail rides by himself and with other horses. He is confident on these trail rides and enjoys being out and about. Perry loves a good gallop but can also be brought back to a walk with minimal fuss, he will settle to walk on the buckle.

Perry is still a young thoroughbred so needs a confident, experienced rider to bring out the best in him. He has been out of work for the past few weeks and the price reflects this.

Perry is only for sale as I am relocating from Canberra and unfortunately cannot bring him with me, an incredibly hard sale as I wanted to hold on tight to him for a long time.
