Ridden Broodmare

Gypsy, a lovely 9-year-old black mare, well built, 16hh. Gypsy is by Regarded Moi (Grand Prix Dressage horse) and out of a mare by Hamlet (Hamlet being the sire of Hunter Valley ll ridden by Sammi Birch as the travelling reserve for the Rio 2016 Olympics, 4th Pau 5* 2017, 10th Aachen 2016), bringing some impressive lineage to the table. Gypsy has had three foals—two blacks, just like her, and one bay. One foal has found a new home, another is staying with us, and the third is set to be broken in and sold soon. All her foals have shown off their generous temperaments and trainability, just like their mum.

A little backstory: Gypsy was broken in as a young horse but had a paddock accident involving a wire fence. She has scarring on her legs. After healing, Gypsy was used as a broodmare. Gypsy is currently empty and in light work. Though she may be a bit green for her age, she’s making strides every day and showing off a great work ethic. Gypsy would be suitable for light work but not to be seriously campaigned.

Gypsy could be used both as a lightly ridden dressage/flat work horse to bring along or a broodmare who produces lovely athletic offspring,
