Schoolmaster Pony - jumping star!

Schoolmaster pony for pony club, interschools, competition.

Breden Detour needs no introduction in Terry Hills or the Central Coast! This EA and Welsh B registered pony was bred by well known pony breeder Keith Robin at Bredon Stud and has taught many kids to compete.

He is a 13hh gelding 14yo. He is very experienced at events - with us has competed at Sydney Jump Club, Tamworth ISHE, SIAC eventing, Stonewall jump comps, Northside Riding Comps and many Pony Club rally days and comps. Previous owners include top showjumper Maile Marechal.

He has taken my 11yo daughter from a rider with no comp experience to confidently competing at many events and winning ribbons.

He is a delight to own - kind and loving temperament and always wants to please. My 11yo daughter was solely responsible for catching, tacking up, washing, loading. He has never bucked, bitten, or pigrooted. NO nasty behaviour in this beautiful pony.

Equally happy at comps as on trail rides, the beach and farm rides. Busy roads, dogs, cattle, tractors do not bother him at all.

He has competed in showjumping up to 80cm successfully and we have done EVA65 with ease - he could definitely do EVA80 and with previous riders has competed to 1m.

Only reason for very sad sale is that my daughter has moved up to a horse due to her growing size.

He is NOT a first or beginner pony - this is a competition schoolmaster. He is safe but forward in competition. He would best suit a confident and ambitious small rider as their third pony who wants to compete and is under comp professional coaching.

Full registration / breeding papers provided. We will be taking him to Waratah this year so available to view there.
