Super quiet all rounder 7yo Tb gelding

Scooby is a 16.2hh Tb gelding who has had loads of outings and competition experience up to 90cm. He is very bold and has never spooked at any fill or liverpools. He is super quiet, forgiving and sensible. He has been ridden by kids, confident novice riders and nervous adults and he is great to trail ride. He is easy to float, clip and shoe. He has full EA registration. He is good paddocked alone or in with other horses.

Scooby is a mild windsucker and he needs a good farrier to keep his feet in good condition, particularly to keep his back feet from developing a negative plantar angle. Hence he is priced reasonably and I am negotiable to the right buyer. He doesn't need special shoes and if treated well there is no reason why he should not have the same career lifespan as any other 7yo horse.

However, a cheaper purchase price does NOT mean that Scooby is cheap to run - although he is a good doer for a Tb, he still needs a lot of feed to keep him fat and shiny and as mentioned he needs good regular shoeing.

Scooby is the quietest, sweetest guy and deserves the best of homes. I really want his next owner to enjoy him so I am not in a hurry to sell - I'd rather wait for the right person to come along.
