Ashara Duchess is a 7yo 14.3-15hh Curly cross Appaloosa mare.

Duchess is an absolute darling in every way. She is a forward-thinking, responsive mare with a lovely soft mouth, who always tries to please. Duchess has been to many ag shows competing in show jumping up to 70cm, and is not fazed by side show alley or the busy atmosphere. She is a very friendly mare and always a pleasure to have around, easy to catch, float, and good for the farrier.

Duchess recently attended Zone 16 Pony Club Camp where she took part in showjumping, cross country, team sorting, obstacles/working equitation, dressage and polocrosse.

She is extremely easy and fuss free to take out, with no separation anxiety. Great to trail ride alone or with others.

She is an absolute delight and always tries her best in all events. She is not a beginner’s horse but is ideal for a confident novice-intermediate tween, teen, or lady rider who enjoys a responsive forward ride with no rubbish or vices. Very well on her way to being a true all rounder - she is coming along beautifully in the dressage arena, is a willing jumper, brave cross country, goes through water without any worry, navigates obstacles like a pro, chases cows happily, and does anything asked of her without a fuss. She has also had two foals, and is a great mum.
