Striking 8-year-old New Zealand-bred Thoroughbred gelding, approximately 17hh.

An exciting performance prospect with all the right ingredients. Short-coupled, naturally balanced and blessed with exceptional movement. He finds working in a frame effortless, gives a fantastic feel and genuinely moves like a warmblood.

He also has wonderful changes, always clean, always effortless.

Retired sound earlier this year, had six weeks off before commencing retraining with an FEI event rider.

He debuted at Melbourne International 3 Day Event in June in the Rising Stars, finishing 5th from 26 with an impressive 76.6% dressage score, including a 9 for General Impression.

After a winter spell, he resumed at Friends of Werribee, where he led after dressage on 69.7%. A green showjumping round dropped him a few places before a clear cross-country round secured 5th overall.

This horse has serious scope over a fence. His technique is still developing, but he is showing plenty of ability and is very easy to school over fences thanks to his lovely canter and willing attitude.

He has now had multiple outings, taking everything in his stride, and has been given a solid foundation without being overproduced. He is ready for someone to put their own stamp on him.

Forward-thinking and tall, so will not suit a beginner, novice, junior or someone returning to riding. He will thrive in a competitive environment with a capable rider who understands Thoroughbreds.

He is eligible for Equimillion, has been entered in the New Start Eventing class, and is entered for the Off The Track Carnival at Boneo next month.

He is only being offered as his rider is building a new horse property and, unfortunately, he is being sold to help fund the arena! If not sold, he will compete at the Off The Track Carnival and his price will increase.
