Lamondale Neon “Neon” is a high-quality, extremely rideable pony combining movement, temperament and trainability in a way that is increasingly hard to find. He offers three exceptionally flash, balanced paces, with a flowing, expressive trot and an uphill, adjustable canter, and is a genuine pleasure to ride.

Neon is an Elite performance pony suitable for dressage and show horse homes.

Neon is currently schooling Novice–Elementary level dressage at home and shows a very correct understanding of the work. He has established leg yield, lengthenings, collection and counter-canter, and is confidently progressing with shoulder-in, travers, half-pass and simple changes. A naturally big mover, he shows the balance, rhythm and willingness required to continue progressing through the levels with correct training. He is well established on the flat with quality self-carriage, expression and class.

Neon is currently being ridden by a 12-year-old rider to a high standard, while also being suitable for more experienced riders, highlighting his genuine temperament, rideability and adaptability.

His willingness to work and natural quality make him an exciting prospect for continued development within a dressage program - and with his exceptional movement, balance and presence, Neon would also be highly suited to a show horse program alongside his dressage potential.

Originally purchased and produced as a serious show jumping pony, Neon was jumping up to 1.20m and competed extensively, including exposure to major atmospheres such as World Cup competitions and agricultural shows. This background has produced a confident, worldly pony who takes new environments, busy warm-up arenas and atmosphere completely in his stride.

Due to a previous injury, Neon has transitioned away from higher-impact jumping phases. He is currently perfectly sound for extensive dressage work, has completed a structured rehabilitation period, and has been consistently monitored by veterinarians. His history will be discussed openly with genuine enquiries.

Quiet, genuine and uncomplicated in daily handling, Neon has been ridden by a range of riders from beginners through to experienced. He is sound, an easy doer, not on supplements or injections and is currently barefoot.
