Introduction:

Raz is a fabulous, compact 15.3hh 12yo Warmblood x TB x Stock Horse gelding with genuine allrounder credentials across dressage, eventing, show jumping and showing. EA-registered and proven in interschool competition, Windouran Razamataz presents as a versatile partner for a capable junior, young rider or amateur wanting a kind, educated horse to enjoy and keep in the ring.

Education, skills and experience:

Raz has been actively campaigned at interschool level, winning Senior Novice Champion at Glennie and placing in eventing up to EVA95 including a win as well as a 3rd place in his rider's first EVA95 at Warwick. He has competed in show jumping to 90cm to 1.00m, is training elementary dressage and been shown in Show Hunter classes. Raz competed successfully to 1* eventing with his previous rider, with footage available online.

General demeanour under saddle:

Raz is described as willing, responsive and adaptable to his rider, tolerating rider errors and stepping up when asked. He is generally very calm and reliable. He is generally worked in a snaffle, and has been jumped in a Pee Wee bit. Raz is a brave and confident jumper who doesn't stop and is well behaved in the ring.

Current workload / fitness:

Raz is currently in light work, ridden one to two times per week. He does not require daily riding to remain sensible and is safe to hop on after a spell.

Handling:

On the ground Raz is straightforward — easy to catch, tie, clip, groom, saddle and wash, and reliable for the farrier and vet. He self-loads, travels and unloads quietly. He is settled around farm machinery, dogs, busy roads and similar activity.

Feeding and management:

Raz is best kept on a simple, low energy diet. He is shod. Raz manages well in a herd, alone in a paddock or fully on his own, and can be stabled part-time.

Medical history:

Raz is up to date with dental and vaccinated for Tetanus, Strangles and Hendra. Past x‑rays and vet checks are available, and a new vet check is welcome at the buyer’s expense.

Rider Suitability:

Windouran Razamataz suits a confident intermediate rider — junior, young rider or amateur — who enjoys variety and regular competition. He is described as safe for capable child riders and adaptable under instruction.

Reason for sale:

Owner’s daughter is heading into Year 12 in 2027 and prioritising study and campdraft/challenges; Raz is too good to sit idle and is ready for a home that will keep riding and competing this fabulous genuine allrounder.
