Hollywood.com has nothing but praise for the new series saying, "Hoffman plays a crime boss fresh out of prison with a giant chip on his shoulder and Nick Nolte and Dennis Farina co-star. Boekelo CCI3* Grants Announced in USA

On yet another US high performance note this afternoon, the USEF have announced their Developing Grants for the team trip to the Boekelo CCI3* in the Netherlands October 6-9. This is US Olympic Committee funding and one of the Grant recipients was Boyd Martin and Otis Barbotiere. Boyd Martin and Remington will use their $15,000 Land Rover competition and training grant to compete at Boekelo, although Boyd can only ride one horse in the team competition. ...
Nine Network to Broadcast Equestrian Grand Final

Equestrian Australia (EA) is pleased to announce the Nine Network will broadcast the 2011 Equestrian Grand Final that will be held as part of EQUITANA Sydney from 10-13 November. Nine will air a one hour highlight package of the newly established Equestrian Grand Final that will feature Dressage, Jumping and Exhibition Eventing. Tennyson Stud, based in the historic Windsor area of NSW, came alive on Saturday 17 September for their Open Day and Masterclass. Seven horses were presented to an enthralled crowd, who participated with many questions prompting insights and training tips from stud principal, Claire Seidl. If you look at the qualifying scores for the Bates Australian Dressage Championships, it‘s quite obvious who will be the horse and rider combinations to beat. Toni Venhaus, the event director passed on the top 10 ranked horses/riders based on these scores. “Most of the qualifying scores definitely paint a picture but you can never predict the outcome. Slow and steady won the money for Catherine Cameron aboard Kahurangi Tardak in the horse grand prix at the two-day Dunstan Rotorua Spring Show on Sunday. Cameron (Cambridge) and the striking grey were one of three combinations through to the jump-off from the 13 starters at the one star show being held in Taupo. First out was Lisa Coupe (Kumeu) on My Ocean Wave who notched a good time but dropped a rail. Then came Cameron who opted for a slow and steady clear. ...
