13yr old chestnut gelding, 16hh (approx) by Written Tycoon.

Retired racing in 2016, Ernie is a lovely gelding with the ability to match. Although he has been off the track for so long he has only done a little post racing but has proven his abilities and will only strive with consistency and more outings.

He would be best suited to an experienced rider as he can be hot and a bit spooky but has never given the feeling of being unsafe, he just wants the consistent work and I feel he’ll mellow out to be a wonderful horse.

He has competed in horse trials with me proving he is a keen jumper and will jump anything he’s pointed at. Once he learns to relax with his dressage work he’ll be a top eventer or even a brilliant showjumper.

Easy to catch, shoe, worm, float. Currently fully shod and up to date with dentals.

He is a wonderful horse to have around and is easy to let sit and bring back into work. Only for sale due to moving overseas, if i wasn’t moving he’d have a forever spot in my paddocks but unfortunately I cannot keep them all.
