Extremely Fun and Competitive 6-Year-Old Gelding

Very genuine and fun 16.2hh, 6-year-old gelding by Daminos (1.50m German Stallion and winner of the Takapoto 1.50m Gold Cup 2024), out of one of New Zealand's top performing amateur rider mares, Ngahiwi Showtym Dancer.

Deja Vu is a very fun, straight-forward horse suited to a range of riders. He is one of the easiest horses to see a distance on, and is very nimble and careful from any take off spot. He has just stepped up to 1.20m level and is finding it very easy. We are confident he will jump at least 7-year-old/ Futurity classes and Young Rider height, and potentially Grand Prix with the right partnership. He would also be well suited to a Junior or Amateur rider, and would also event extremely well as he is bold with a fantastic gallop.

Deja is very sound. He has only been seen by a vet to be gelded, and has never had a lame day in his life. He is fantastic to bring back into work after a break, is consistent in his day-to-day riding, and can be ridden by any level.

We would love to see Deja go to a rider who will give him a fun, varied life. He enjoys hacking out over the farm and living with other horses. His only vice is that he can sometimes jump out of his paddock, but aside from that he is very easy. We bred Deja so home is very important. He is only for sale as his owner is no longer unable to compete due to an old injury.
