Ideal Eventer / Dressage / Interschool Horse

KPH Sir Lancelot is a quiet 9 year old TB X WB gelding, who is approximately 17.1hh. He is out of a TB mare and by warmblood stallion KPH Trojan The Greek who is by Northern Classic.

He has been professionally trained & has an extensive competition background from dressage, to showing & eventing, with many wins & places. He is currently competing novice / elementary level dressage and training medium. He has established laterals including shoulder-in, travel & half pass in trot & canter. He has 3 clear, correct paces, maintains an even rhythm & tempo and is consistent with the contact.

He comfortably jumping 95cm & is a bold safe jumper. He is bold over cross-country jumps & is balanced in the showjumping ring. He has just started competing EVA 65 with dressage scores in the high 60%’s.

He has also competed at ag shows in breed & hunter hack classes both led & under saddle. He is good to ride out in traffic, on the beach & trails. He can be ridden out alone or in company. He is good to catch, worm, have his feet trimmed / shod, float, rug etc. Always ridden in a snaffle. 

He is an easy-going horse who has good ground manners and is calm & easy to ride. He is as well-behaved in public as he is at home. I have taught some of my students on Lance and he adjusts himself to the rider on his back and is accommodating with nervous riders.

His behaviour is impeccable both in and out of work. He is good to get back on after a break and does not need to be lunged or “worked down” after a few days or even weeks off. He is up to date with dental & hendra. Vet check welcome

This horse has loads of potential to excel in the eventing world, or you can continue with his dressage & showing career or do all of the above! He would be suitable for a teenager looking for an interschool mount or an adult rider looking for a safe allrounder. This is a genuine & regretful sale of an absolutely wonderful horse and I will be sorry to see him go but I need to downsize.
