Gus is a 17.2hh 15yo (2011) warmblood gelding by Yalambis Carpino Z out of KS Genoa.

Experienced showjumper through 1.30m who knows his job and is an uncomplicated ride. Would suit junior / YR / amateur wanting to get out and progress through the heights.

Brave over fill, doesn’t get hot and is easily adjustable. Will cop a miss without getting offended and is a generally nice fun horse to ride and have around.

Whilst Gus has predominantly jumped, I think he would also excel in a straight dressage home. He holds a nice natural frame and has big floating paces.

Gus is just coming back into work after having the last year off while I’ve been out of action due to injury / my health. Now I’m able to ride again I’ve come to the realisation that I just don’t have the time to keep a horse in full work and get out to shows anymore, so have made the difficult decision to move Gus on to someone that does have the time he deserves as he’s to good to keep sitting in the paddock.

No dirt in him but can be forward moving at times so he does require a confident, capable rider to get him back to his full potential.

No previous injuries / health issues. He does have large sidebones but this has never affected him and has never caused any soundness issues. Happy to discuss and provide previous X-rays. Vet checks welcome.
