Quality WB: Scope & Presence SJ or Eventing

KGP Capri is by Yalambi’s Carpino Z out of a Sir Shutterfly mare, beautifully bred to jump and certainly looks the part. He presents as a versatile type who could be suited to a range of disciplines, from showjumping, eventing and dressage through to show hunter.

Capri has been conscientiously started and has had limited outings and work through no fault of his own. His owner had every intention of producing him herself, however due to ongoing injuries and now a recent hip replacement, she is unable to give him the consistency and time he deserves. As such, he is green for his age, but has loads of potential.

Now in consistent work, Capri is training around 95cm at home and is progressing quickly. He is careful, scopey, and shows all the attributes to continue up the heights with ease. On the flat, he has basic foundations established including laterals and a lovely soft mouth. He is quiet, willing, and shows a genuine trainable attitude, with natural presence under saddle.

Capri has had one cross country outing where he showed a lot of promise. He was bold and sensible, confidently jumping into water, over ditches, up and down steps, and brush fences. A very impressive first outing that highlights his potential as an exciting eventing prospect.
