Brown 16-16.1hh 6 year old (4/12/2019) mare by Revolution (Rocky Lee / Rouletto) out of an Australian Warmblood Mare (High Rail Roll the Dice / Ludendorf). See photos for full pedigree. Reva progressing quickly in her training placing second in her most recent official Preliminary competition. She is ready for her first novice start and is starting her elementary movements in training.

Reva is a stunning mare of modern type that adores people and has a personality and disposition I cannot fault. She was broken in as a 3 year old (by Mclean sport horses and myself) and proved to be extremely sensible with a desire to please and learn. Reva has been brought on slowly since breaking and has been given time to develop physically as she was slow to mature. She has been in light work with regular breaks up until this year where she has had more consistent work. She was an absolute dream in her foundation training, and her work ethic has continued to be phenomenal throughout her education since.

Reva is one of the quietest most sensible young horses I’ve ever come across. Her temperament really is second to none and wants nothing more than to please and just be with her people! Reva is easy shoe, float, clip and catch (she will catch you in the paddock). She is our horse of choice to give the “pony rides” when nieces and nephews come to visit and I truly believe she would be a fantastic mare for an experienced young rider or ambitious AOR. She is a super mare to work with in every way and is uncomplicated to do anything with or take out and about. Reva has been ridden by myself primarily, however, has also carried around my mum (who needed a safe horse after her hip replacement) and a 13 year old beginner rider who learnt to trot and canter after only having ridden school/ tail horses. She has been to different properties for lessons and clinics as well as completions at Werribee and Shirley heights. She took in the atmosphere at each outing and was very sensible. She has also been out on the Warburton trail a few times for a stroll and really enjoyed herself.

Reva is a talented mare with an incredible walk, expressive modern trot and active canter. She is highly intelligent and learns quickly. She placed in her very first competition as a youngster scoring 68%.

Currently standing just over 16hh, she is a lovely size for most people wanting something super rideable and not too tall (particularly as Revolution is 17.2hh). She is also eligible to be registered with the AWHA and evidence of service and pedigree is available for those interested. Reva is an extremely fertile mare, producing 4 grade 1 embryos from a single frozen semen dose in 1 only 1 cycle! From this, she produced a stunning ET filly by Jagger born last season (whom is also available). She has passed on her amazing temperament and has proven that she would be an asset to any breeding program. She has been tested WFFS negative and colour tested as Ee AA.

Revetta’s dam is a striking Australian warmblood mare by High Rail Roll the Dice (A grade showjumper) out of a Ludendorf x civic star mare. She was retired after a paddock accident as a 4 year old but showed huge potential in both showjumping and dressage as a youngster. Etta and the High Rail line consistently produce sensible, competitive and versatile performance horses, perfect for both professionals and amateurs alike. Both Reva’s half sisters have gone on to have successful competition careers in all three disciplines.

Please only genuine inquires as this is an extremely hard sale of an incredibly talented and loved member of the Carlington park family. Reva was bred to be my next superstar with no intention of being sold. However, due to her smaller size and having a few horses stay with us over the years for a range of reasons (career ending injury of a young horse plus unexpected embryo transfer twins), we simply do not have room to keep them all. Reva matured to be slightly smaller than my preferred mount and has the most incredible quiet nature. It is only for these reasons that we are sadly looking find her a new home. Reva adores her people and laps up all the attention she can get, we would like Reva to go to a 5 star competition home where she can ultimately be someone’s priority and best friend. Reva would also suit a family home with young up and coming riders as she will be a fantastic young riders mount for the future. This is something I just cannot provide her moving forward with full time work and 5 other horses in training. We will be very fussy with who she goes to and will prioritise a forever home.

Reva’s only “vice” is that she does windsuck. This has not been an issue at all on our property as we have electric fencing. This does not affect her weight nor does she wear a collar out in the paddock. Due to the stigma around this behaviour her price has been set with this in mind. We do encourage people to look past this if you feel she is suitable as it really is quite easily managed.
