Statford Stanley

Statford Stanley (“Stan”) is a quality 10-year-old warmblood gelding with big forward movement. Trained to 90cm and competed up to 80cm Showjumping, he has attended Ag Shows, Showjumping comps, training days, and trail rides.

Stan was broken in and started by a dressage rider and judge. He has established basics on the flat and was training elementary dressage. He goes around kindly on the flat, carries his head well, has a powerful hind end and a nice uphill canter 

When jumping, Stan has a nice shape over a fence and tucks his back legs up well. He doesn't like to touch rails, is careful and won't refuse. He will look at fill but won't stop. 

Used to farm environments, cattle, and machinery.
Would suit a Dressage, Showjumping, or pleasure riding home with an educated rider to continue to bring out the best in him.

Stan has been diagnosed recently as roarer, but still been given the all clear by the vet to do straight jumping, dressage, adult riding club, trail riding (details to be discussed with serious buyers).

Has just returned from 4 weeks of schooling with a professional trainer. Is in work and ready to go on with - Jumping and going well at home on the flat. 

Offered for sale due to rider’s work and study commitments, and limited time to manage multiple horses.
