Sunny was professionally started under saddle and quickly proved himself to be a very talented and willing riding pony. Sunny was sold to his current owner and even though he has been a reliable ride, she feels he would be better suited to a more ambitious and experienced rider that will progress him up through the levels.

Like many performance bred horses and ponies, Sunny is a forward thinking boy that responds well to the riders clear aids and is best ridden forward to the contact. He thrives on consistency and would suit someone who understands the importance of regular work and routine.

Sunny is a pleasure to have around, he has a loveable personality and always tries to do the right thing. On the ground, Sunny can lack attention to personal space and therefore needs someone that is clear and consistent in setting boundaries. Once this is established, Sunny is easy to handle in every way.

With his previous trainers, Sunny has already had a successful competition debut. We believe Sunny is destined for great things in the competition ring again and has the capacity to progress up to FEI with the right rider who is willing to take their time and allow the partnership to develop.

Sunny has recently been brought back into work after some time off due to an eye ulcer that needed a graft. Sunny is now fully recovered and is building up strength in the basic Prelim/Novice work. However it is only a matter of more strength and balance before he will be playing with the Elementary work and from there the sky will be the limit for this superstar pony.
