URGENT SALE: Talented Welsh Cob x Gelding

Training & competition: Started by Adam Sutton, Lochie has been professionally dressage schooled for 12 months. Competing preliminary, training novice. Trails, obstacles, and handles with ease. Great feet and an easy keeper.

Character & the right rider: Lochie is people-orientated, curious, and will happily share his yard (and even his feed) with his paddock mates. Extremely quiet and lazy at home, at competitions he needs a patient, unhurried warm-up; given that, he switches on beautifully and has recorded several scores over 70%. He now needs regular outings and a confident, experienced rider to give him the exposure and confidence that he needs.

Why is he selling?: Lochie's owner bred two foals, with the intention to keep only one. Lochie grew considerably bigger than anticipated, so due to his owner's back issues, the pony sibling was the more practical choice. Once under saddle it was clear that Lochie was a bit special, so his owner held onto him and kept him in professional training to realise his potential. Ultimately, other financial commitments mean he is now offered for urgent sale with genuine regret. Lochie is simply bigger than his owner can comfortably manage, and more talented than the budget allows to develop. Someone will get an exceptional horse at a very fair price.
