Versatile Mare

Southern Cross Nelly | 10YO | 16hh Warmblood Mare

Well-bred, versatile mare with plenty to offer her next rider.

By Southern Cross Dorado (Ludendorf) out of Southern Cross Cross Cygnus (Salute).

Southern Cross Nelly is bred for eventing with competition experience with her previous owner at EVA80 and SJ 90cm at interschool competitions.

Nelly is currently based at a professional dressage training stable where she has been receiving regular training with a GP dressage rider, under whose guidance I have also been having regular lessons with. She has three balance, quality paces and recently took me to my first competition (dressage), where we achieved 1st place in both classes.

Nelly is easy to handle and manage, straightforward to wash, trim, travel.
Happy paddocked alone or with others - Nil separation Anxiety.

Nelly has always been barefoot with easy to maintain strong feet and is up to date with dental and vaccinations.

A versatile mare developing the foundations across multiple disciplines. Nelly can still be green at times, with the occasional spook, and can be forward in the canter. She would be best suited to a confident rider looking to continue her education.
