Introduction:
If you are looking for a quality young Warmblood with the breeding, temperament and conformation to develop into a serious performance prospect, Widgee Total Sunrise is a very exciting option. Known as Spencer, he is a 2yo chestnut Warmblood gelding by Advanced Dressage stallion Widgee Total Eclipse, out of Silhouette, and is expected to mature around 16.2hh.

Located in Exeter, NSW, Spencer is a striking young horse with lovely presence, an excellent temperament and the athletic potential to be produced for dressage, showjumping or eventing. He presents as a well-handled and started young prospect with quality breeding, a trainable attitude and the foundations in place to continue his education correctly.

Education, skills and experience:
Spencer is currently being started under saddle. He has been floated multiple times and leads confidently, with a solid foundation of basic handling for his age.

He would suit someone looking to produce a quality young horse for any Olympic discipline. With his breeding, type and temperament, Spencer has the ingredients to develop into a lovely future performance horse with correct, patient production.

General demeanour under saddle:
The report from the breakers is that Spencer is level-headed, trainable and straightforward to work with. He has no known vices or quirks and appears to have the temperament to progress well with clear, consistent education.

Current workload / fitness:
As a 2yo, Spencer is currently in light work as part of the starting process.

Handling:
Spencer is well mannered on the ground and leads calmly and willingly. He has not been clipped. He is easily caught with a treat!

Feeding and management:
Spencer currently lives on grass only and can be managed in a herd environment. His day-to-day management requirements are straightforward.

Medical history:
Spencer has no past or present medical issues. He was last vaccinated on 1 May 2026 for Tetanus and Hendra, had his dental completed on 1 February 2025 and is currently barefoot. A vet check is welcome at the buyer’s expense.

Rider Suitability:
Spencer is best suited to an experienced rider or a home with access to professional training, as he is still at the beginning of his ridden education and will require further correct production. Once established under saddle, he may suit a capable young rider, amateur adult or mature rider wanting a quality horse to continue developing.

Reason for sale:
Spencer is offered for sale due to lack of time for two horses. His owners are seeking a capable long-term home where he can continue being professionally educated and given the opportunity to reach his potential.
