Introduction: Girly is the ultimate showjumping unicorn. She is one-in-a-million who knows her job - is careful, brave and competitive. Girly’s aim in life is to jump and to win!
Bloodlines: Girly is a quintessential stock horse type - hardy, athletic, intelligent. She is no nonsense and knows her job.
Education, riding and experience: Girly has a solid dressage foundation. She is a keen, brave and safe jumper with experience to 105 cm super competitive up to 90cm.
Girly has competed successfully with a junior at Interschools and has proven herself to be straight forward, honest and reliable. She has been the ultimate schoolmaster to teach her rider the ropes of the showjumping scene.
General demeanor under saddle: Girly is willing and responsive under saddle. She has a snaffle mouth and collects when asked correctly. Girly requires a step up - bit wise - for jumping, to refine her turns and control.
Girly is balanced, reliable and fun to ride. She can be competed, ridden bareback and ridden on trails without issues.
Current workload/ fitness: Girly is currently in work and competing.
Handling: Girly is safe and easy to handle - to catch, shoe, wash, saddle and load.
Behaviour: Girly is straightforward and safe to have around. She can, sometimes, get pushy on the ground because she loves a scratch and a cuddle.
Girly does not have any dirt, quirks or vices - however, in a hectic environment, she can be horse shy (steps away from the other horse) - due to being kicked in a warm up arena. In saying that, Girly is extremely sensible, if she does spook away from another horse, she will then immediately stop. Once reassured, she will immediately move on.
Girly can be cranky with picking up her back feet.
Girly does not need regular work to be safe but thrives when ridden 4 times a week. Girly is best with a 5 minute lunge after a spell, if she has had months off, but is safe to ride without this.
Feeding and management: Girly is currently fed a biscuit of hay twice a day.
Medical history: Girly does not have any medical issues, except for a small scar.
Rider Suitability: Girly would be suitable for a competent junior or an adult rider who wants a competitive, mount who will give you much love and enjoyment. Not suitable for a beginner or a nervous rider.
