FULL Sibling, from same breeder; Pier Gynt Namaste F was bought unbroken but well handled by Performance Horse Sales. We had her started under saddle and sold her jumping/ competing 80cm. She went on to jump/ place at 110 after a year under saddle - being renamed ‘Wednesday Adams’ by a Queensland rider and coach. She has recently been sold to a 12 year old student and they just jumped their first metre class together and went clear.
Part Sibling, by the same sire, from the same breeder; Pier Gynt Nautilus F was jumping and winning 110 with a junior after 7 shows. Three years later is currently jumping, placing at big EA Shows in the 115/120.
Education, skills and experience: Nafisa is the result of the breeder’s desire to produce a smaller performance horse with scope and agility showjumping and impressive movement for dressage. She has been handled and pre trained by the breeder and a professional since foaling.
Nafisa willingly lunges both ways and has been jumped on the lunge. She has a scopey jump, lovely paces and an exceptional trot and canter.
General demeanor under saddle: N/A - due to age, Nafisa is not yet under saddle.
Current workload/ fitness: Nafisa is has professional handling sessions every fortnight and retains what is learnt from each session.
Handling: Nafisa is lovely and straight forward to handle. She is easy to catch, stands quietly whilst tied up, is well behaved for the farrier (currently on 6 week trimming cycle) and familiar with worming. Nafisa loads happily onto the float.
Behaviour: Like any young horse, Nafisa needs a capable owner/ trainer to work with her and continue her desensitization, backing and education. Of the two Pier Gynt horses we have listed, Nafisa is sharper and has the more extravagant movement. With time, Nafisa has the potential to become a super performance horse, for an ambitious junior or smaller adult, to compete in showjumping, eventing or dressage.
Feeding and management: Nafisa lives in a herd environment, big paddock and is not hard fed or on supplementary hay.
Medical history: Nafisa does not have any medical issues.
Rider Suitability: Nafisa is not under saddle but will eventually suit a capable junior through to smaller adult rider looking for a competitive performance horse.
