Flora is the product of special breeding that make for a trainable and talented performance horse. Flora's Dam FLORIANA is an absolute dream to own and train, willing to do anything to please, competing in Dressage, Showing at Royals and trying her hoof at Working Equitation with nothing phasing her. Floriana has even taught my father to ride who is a nervous mid 60's gentleman first timer. 

Flora's sire U-GENIUS was bred by Clare & Carl Hester in the UK. He was to be the best kept tucked away for the big tour debut as an Olympic hopeful, but sadly passed away before his time. During his training, including the GP movements, U-Genius showed a remarkable talent for Piaffe & Passage, with his temperament known throughout his offspring as a special highlight.

Flora is no exception, she is curious, engaged in training and very willing. Flora has been brought along in hand slowly with recent brief sessions long reining, currently rugged, tied, had sessions float loading and her ongoing farrier apts maintained every 5wks without lameness or feet issues kept barefoot. That said, she is still a young horse and will need ongoing training to bring her along. 

Flora has been raised with a paddock buddy and exposed to a fairly relaxed farm environment with motorbikes, prams, tractor etc as a part of life. Flora is sensible and engaged, but by no means bombproof or a dull type. Aside from her wonderful temperament, what makes Flora so special also is her natural spring to her step. I truly feel she is an exciting young horse to bring on, one suited to a capable owner to take on from here. 

Flora is ready for a light start at just over 3yo. Physically, more growing to come, mentally she is absolutely ready for more. Her Dam is 16.1hh, Sire 17hh and last paddock measured at 16.2hh (3yo). 

I have decided to sell Flora, she is our last home bred so it is a sad sale but needed so I can focus on my small child's start in life. I am very lucky to have her Dam to enjoy and know Flora will bring so much joy to a new owners life, as she does for us everyday.
