Caboolture Dressage Group held the Great South Eastern 2** Dressage Championships on 15-17 June at QSEC, where perfect Queensland weather helped to ensure a great weekend of competition. Horsezone sponsored the Advanced 5B and 5C classes at this event, which were both won by Victoria Welch and the gorgeous grey mare, Glogau, who also won the Advanced Championship.... A well earned defrost and a few days in the Queensland sun is how I spent the end of last week, attending the 107th annual Sunshine Coast Show, which was held at Nambour Showground 15-17 June. Jumping numbers were up on last year and it’s always one of the bigger shows on the coast each year, with $15,000 in prize money given away over three days, anyone in the placings went home happy.... A clear round from Lucinda Fredericks in the Show Jumping phase of the Luhmuhlen CCI4* overnight has rewarded the Beijing silver medallist with second place overall. The event was the final opportunity for Australia’s UK based Eventers to put a good performance on the board before Australia’s Eventing team for the 2012 London Olympic Games is decided....
